ClearSpeed GPS includes HUD mirror mode for situations where a mirrored speed readout is useful. The display is intentionally simple: a large speed number and minimal trip details.
What HUD mirror mode does
HUD mirror mode flips the display so it can appear correctly when reflected. It is most useful in low-glare conditions where the phone can be placed securely and the reflection is readable.
Set it up before moving
- Choose HUD mode while parked or stopped.
- Place the phone securely so it cannot slide.
- Keep the phone and reflection out of your primary field of view.
- Do not use HUD mode if glare, placement, or reflection makes it distracting.
Use a simple brightness level
A bright screen can improve reflection, but too much brightness can add glare. Adjust before starting and use the mode only when it makes the speed easier to glance at safely.
